The steel wire mesh can be molded into various shapes on my 3” round steel ball tool. I love the freedom it gives me to create expressive shapes. The steel mesh is a commercial product I use. It is shaped and protected so it will not rust. The protection compound gives the steel a wonderful sheen. The sculpture is a great table top piece of art.

Handmade ceramic vase. Hand built slab pottery technique, using terracotta clay The vessel is decorated with underglaze. The design is geometric. No glaze is coated on the surface of the vessel thus leaving the natural terracotta touch and appearance except the interior and cut edges of the top The interior of the vessel is coated with clear glaze which makes the vessel water resistant.
