The steel wire mesh can be molded into various shapes on my 3” round steel ball tool. I love the freedom it gives me to create expressive shapes. The steel mesh is a commercial product I use. It is cleaned, shaped and protected so it will not rust. The protection compound gives the steel a wonderful sheen. The sculpture is a great table top piece of art.
